IMVHO...that number is much higher..for one...the otc has very little transperency...two...if you look at yahoo finance ..it only lists 2018 and the short interest is closer to 7%... 3. even Micron apple and many other tech companies have a 1/2 % short position..4. TLRY has a 7% short position..although in another sector it is a NAZ stock.....To think a speculative stock has a similar short position as establish money making machines is questionable...again IMVHO NLST short position is probably closer to 7%..but thats just a guess...
