It seems Calhoun is good for Jr. Preferreds and bad for commons. Even CMLA seems to voice the same reasoning.

Hope everyone took advantage of the low JPS:Common ratio while it was there.

We all know Commons getting Cancelled is fully back on the table with Calhoun potentially taking the FHFA Director position.

Even CMLA seems to voice the same reasoning.

Sandra Thompson is doing a good job. No need to contemplate an appointed director. Per SCOTUS ruling, the acting director essentially has greater power than an appointed director.

Dont worry, Sandra Thompson will be the ‘director’ for quite some time. Edward DeMarco was an acting director, he happened to be the ‘director’ for several years.
