I don't know that the court will think that its job is to discourage this sort of theft. I would hope so. It would be nice, on more than one level, but it depends on the judge.

It's not entirely about what amount would benefit NLST. The damages also need to consider what will discourage this type of outright theft to begin with.

And in order to discourage sometimes there has to be an example set. An outlier for those other infringers to think about.....
Hope this Judge is one who wants to set an example.

This is a seminal patent case. Not just somebody's patent. Seminal patent.... game changing patent that puts the user ahead of the curve immediately. And for those without access to this patent, blows the competition out of the water.

We'll see what gives here..... hoping Hong/Sheasby are very shrewd and demanding~!
