Doesn't sound like you know accounting that well. If you look online (IRS or Accounting firm sites) you will see that PPP Forgiveness is recorded as other income. Maybe your accounting skills (or lack thereof) is why you no longer work there.

what made you buy shares of the company if you don't believe in current management? Were shares granted to you somehow or did you buy them on the open market? If memory serves me correctly, no shares have been issued by the company.
