pereg, sorry but I don't think that comment on HGEN stopped the bleed.

CDMO shares after such a Q/CC are in demand. You can short into them massively, certainly with the 'surprise help' of HGEN announcement the morning after.

But as always, short positions must be closed and hence the bleeding stops.

It is just unfortunate timing, because without HGEN the buying of share in near zero liquidity would have lifted the PPS quite some up. But if this buying is done while stops are triggered (and at 15% you do trigger some II stops too) the buys get filled easily.
