His number is correct if you only calculate the 35 mil tons but you have to add the 25 mil ton of inferred they talk about which adds another 1.7 or so mil tons of pure mn to the bottom line.so let's say 4 million tons of pure mn at 1500 hundred a ton works out to roughly 6 billion dollars

Mn is only 6.42% of the total 34.86 messured mineeal resources the remainer is mixture of solils and gravels. When they extract the Mn they only get 6.42% from that location. Mn is the 8th most common element on earth
