Pretty simple, if the price someone pays for the shares are bought at the ask then that is considered buying, if they're sold at the bid, than that's considered selling. I look at the time and sales, really quite simple, most shares the past few days have been bought at the ask, that's the joke.....!

You can laugh and say what you want, you must be a newbie, that's why I explained it above for yourself!

I have to admit that it does get tiring having to explain to people who are new to the markets, how the purchasing and selling of stocks works. The next thing they generally bring up is if they have to pay taxes on the money that they make! So I'll tell you here and now that yes, you do have to pay taxes on the money that you make buying and selling stocks!
