I remember once many years ago when a seasoned, veteran IT Auditor gave me great advice. She told me to ONLY answer the auditor's question (no more, and no less). Do not expand or ramble, since that provides ammunition for the auditor to probe further down through hidden bunny trails (rabbit holes).

Dr JJ may simply be following that approach. There may be some 'data' that is questionable or in a grey area, and he doesn't want to have to explain it away to the FDA - unless absolutely necessary. In other words, don't volunteer 'data' that could be theoretically used against you or that which may raise any doubt.

All speculation on my part!! The goods news is....it appears that the FDA has NOT rejected the EUA application thus far.
