Agreed, and that's why I bought on eTrade the Friday before they shut down...I'm still behind...but believe that ultimately this will go pink and things will turn.
I think the holdup is that FINRA has to approve the filings, and they need an attorney's letter as well right? It might take another 4 weeks or so to get news - could be wrong but I think it takes awhile for FINRA/SEC to review - they have a big backlog.
What's going to be crazy is if there's an extension beyond September 28 - say to like the end of the year. There would be backlash, one would think, against eTrade, Ameritrade etc not letting people buy for months.
