Ok, one more story then ;)

Living in an old farmhouse
Farmland, great top soil
Subsoil clay one hundred feet deep

Bout' two in the afternoon
Young Kids playing happily with friends downstairs
I go down for a nap upstairs

Now, an old farmhouse of 150yrs
Has seen a lot
This earthquake 100 miles away
Was not going to impress it much

It did me though in my sleepy state
[no, I don't need excuses but it's a f'n fact! ;]
I thought it was a very large delivery truck
Backing into the wrap around porch
And corner of the house and
Not slowing down
Sounded like a freight train in the bedroom

Just walking on the hardwood floor
With a subfloor of hand hewn planking
Sounded like a field of crickets and frogs
Competing for whom could be the
Loudest latenite azzhole, lolz..
This was loud and long

See, ur house built on the Cdn Shield
Will still break
But it will be more like
Getting hit by a baseball bat

On Clay, ur house is like
Whipped Cream
On top of a bowl of Jello
Very resilient cuz
It's a f'n timber frame house - da best!

Rockin' and Rollin' like
Johnny Thunders
In N.Y.C.
On Crystal Meth ;)

Nice book review. Disagree on the Lefty publication author on SD being a top corrupt state. All noise no evidence. One could say that about any state without specifics. I don't excuse the AG's actions... sad deal no matter what. I wonder what that dude that crashed into the hay bales alcohol levels were, pretty high I'm sure, but no mention of that. Doesn't excuse the AG. I love this state. One of the most free states in the nation, period. No masks, no mandates...love it. What state do you hail from?
