I'm in High Point, NC. Furniture capital of the world or so we still claim.

The winters do kind of suck here since it is such a damp cold which chills you to the bone. Been here 20 plus years and as a transplanted Yankee I still can't get used to never feeling warm.

In the NE it's a dry cold which never really bothered me.
