Yep interesting market. Hey this stock is overvalued junk, so let's buy it and squeeze the shorts. The more overvalued & the junkier...the better!

I don’t like the possible knock off effects on the market of what is happening with these bankrupt companies.

At this point everyone is justifiably afraid to short things when a terrible event like a bankruptcy can cause a stock to soar. Shorts provide a useful function to the market ecosystem, and they may go extinct.


If it weren’t for shorts some fraudulent and bad businesses would have continued consuming capital. Without them misallocation of capital is likely to be worse.

Way more fun than slot machines though.
