OK--here's what I'm gonna go with and I think it's what you did in years past:

straight/boxed 4 is obvious as you gotta have all 4 picks

straight 3= 1-2-3 in order in the 1st 3 positions
boxed 3= 1-2-3 finish anywhere in your 4 picks in any order
