Are those the original donations from the last time? A chunk of them are a month old. Also their Naked Truth website has zero actual details to include whether or not Wes Christian actually represents them at this time or if that is only their goal.
I warned the last guy (based on personal GFM experience relative to group-litigation on an investment issue) very early on into the original AMC group fundraising effort that he was going to have problems without legitimizing where the funding was going and what would be done with the residuals if anything was leftover - and that he had to have a good accounting of how funds were to be expended or he would be crucified for raising the levels needed (he started low 5 figures and was changing amounts full into six figures which helped cast illegitimacy on what he was doing) without a good justification - and that is exactly what happened. He didn't listen to my recommendations and kept asking for more without details. Also it didn't help that he had an old conviction for fraud.
Other than names of who is 'running' the effort - no background or way to verify they are legit - the effort is going to prove to be another shit storm that is not needed if they don't fix their stuff PDQ.
I'm all for Wes Christian going after them....but I will sit it out this time until they pony up more information and convince me they have all our best interests at heart and are doing things correctly - other than just slapping new names on an old pig and creating a 3 page website with zero real information.
