#145416 RE: Nanotoday #145415

You mischaracterize me as a confident and steadfast supporter of NNVC. I have been (overly) optimistic about the promise of the technology and some preclinical results, but highly disappointed as an investor in management's lack of progress and poor communication.

I would guess the next steps are they pivot from pure nanoviricide to nanoviricide as carrier, similar to what they did with their CovidCide-remdesivir. Maybe they might even get a partner to improve on their partner's drug via new delivery (if nanoviricide encapsulation works to deliver payload into select cells - probably doing the preclinical work now). Then Diwan will release some promising lab studies and negotiate a big license with himself to pursue the next greatest thing, if he can find anybody left to give him money.

Or maybe they will release some more CoV results and report on what else they need to do for a CovidCide IND. Then Covid will be over by the time that work is completed, and they will resume topical HerpeCide development.

In the meantime, there are so many other impressive technologies out there that show promise to be able to dismantle viruses like NNVC purports to be able to do (but just can't manufacture reproducibly and cost effectively?). How about Maxwell Biosciences and their peptoids? Nice viral destruction:

Something will be created to be able to destroy viruses and will be very successful, but I doubt it will come from NNVC at this point. Expectations are low, but would love to be surprised.

What about you?
