More like it only costs $200 at Legal Zoom to file a provisional versus many thousand to actually file for a real patent. Provisional patent does not protect squat if someone beats you to the punch and files a patent. Provisional patents only provide protection back to the date of filing and you have been awarded a bona fied patent for the provisional filed.
