I get a kick out idiots like that...know bugger all about the industry whatsoever. It will not be "abandoned" but they will drill and hit the bigger reservoir in Merlin 2 and produce it first. Once that's in production, then they'll either continue another drill site in that area or look at the feasibility of producing from Merlin 1...the pay dirt will be Merlin 2.
