Well, first she would announce an agreement of purchase, most likely with a pr about an LOI, not that the acquisition has already happened. That would be a first for AHIX. As to why the stock is going up today, that's an unknown.
The employees themselves, wouldn't or should I say shouldn't know about any acquisition yet. The insiders, yes. But they risk going to jail if it's found out they're buying prior to it being disclosed.
So, it may just be another false start like it saw back in May.
