I suppose the next move is to ax the District Court to reconsider, but maybe not because I read somewhere it was a "9-judge" panel (sounds unlikely to me for that court in the first instance). Then we could go to the 9th Circus and rely on their usual jurisprudence; you know: "That Paul Jacobs looks like a really nice boy. Do you think he'd do a thing like that?" The on to Diana Ross and her group.

Looks to me like 3 to 5 years to settle just this iteration. Think of all the investor/guessers at each step who'll figure that step is the end of it versus those who think it will keep on rolling, and all the money to be made and lost by the sellers, buyers, and sellers.

I reckon I'll just sit and watch as I've done since the Bubble and kvecth, and cheer and rail at Punkin'. It keeps me off the streets.

Probably on Monday we'll get plenty of cyberyak about this.

I guess my beef with the whole NOK position is that if allowed to prevail great harm will be done to property rights. All any company will have to do is water down a new tech such that no compensation is allowed to flow due to proportionality. It may be called beef stew but our carrots and onions matter as much as your prime cut of beef. This is all about established big companies keeping outsiders out.
