I was told by someone who actually SPOKE to ETRADE that the date Aug. 27 is correct.

Frankly, I doubt that Sept. 27, ONE DAY BEFORE the change goes into effect, would be what ETRADE intended to say. But if it is an error I'm sure ETRADE would send a correction by email.
