The CEO, Alois, had never said that. The quote you are referring to was from the founder Bernard Sammer. The context is uncertain of what he meant when he made those statements. The hope was that he was talking about revenue for the upcoming year.
if you look at the trading chart, back in Jan $vitx was just starting to move into 006/008 range.. so Bernhard could have very well referred in a private video conversation with Anselm Fischer to the market cap .. which was border to 10/12mils at that time and they were also discussing the shares price adjustments of the Europeans (but that was another vid cut and ..) .. the italian dude recorded the info, edited to his please and posted it on vimeo and alerted the twitter.. both of them were taken out when co found out about it.
