I think that comes under the heading of wishful thinking, especially for a drug that even if it works, needs to be given intravenously.

Certainly the current study does not address the prophylactic use of brilacidin you seem to be advocating.

Frankly neither does the fact that well over 50% of the couple of hundred patients treated with brilacidin so far experienced adverse events.
