Agreed. The semantics of the term "buyback" are being used loosely.

What's really happening is SB and a group of investors (possibly partners and insiders) are coming together to make a large offer on the open market.

What they do with the stock after the fact (of acquiring it) is the unknown.

I assume there will be some sort of incentive for participation and further, to HOLD.

The price HPIL closes at on Monday the 16th will determine what the offer will be on the 17th.

Hopefully we will understand the terms of the offer then
