You can’t go down more than 100%…
Down 100% means 0.0000.

Reduction from 9 to 3 down ~66% not 300%

Increase 3 to 9 up 300% = yield (+ 6) or 200%: you still have your original 3

to go down 300% from 9 (using 9 as an example only).
would be negative 18
100 % = 9 balance 0
200 % = 18 balance <9>
300 % = 27 balance <18>

If PCTL was 9 and dropped 33% value would be ~6
If PCTL was 9 and dropped 66% value would be ~3
If PCTL was 3 and dropped 50% value would be 1.5

Conversely, if PCTL was 1.5 and increased 100% value would be 3
So not down 300 percent from anything
