You always claim, that you are an expert, but Klaus is right. I don't want to go into detail ... but I find it weak, that you don't know, that Intel is using 7 Layers on 90nm.

I know Intel is using 7 layers on Prescott. That wasn't the point. The point is they use 7 because they can and not lose overall yield. They don't need to. And BTW, I am not an expert on fab process.

Do you know what current Intel processor uses 7 metal layers?
