This CEO has heard of Marburg. When he was CFO of his former company they said this in their first SEC filing....in 2006:
"We believe there is a significant potential for developing good nanoviricides against hemorrhagic viral diseases such as Ebola, Marburg, Hanta, Lassa, among others."
They're still saying it...this is from their latest 10-Q:
"In addition, we have drugs in development against all influenzas in our FluCide™ program, as well as drug candidates against HIV/AIDS, Dengue, Ebola/Marburg, and other viruses."
"We will continue to seek funding for further development in the remaining programs, namely Dengue and Ebola/Marburg antivirals."
When they say "further development" I think they mean "development".
Anyway, be careful what you ask for....
