Also, if this is the same for all firms, I would try for the same thing... Because if they are really short, and there aren't enough dividends to go around, I wouldn't want to be the last guy in line if you know what I mean.

I talked to someone at Fidelity and they seemed to believe that they could trade the dividend shares so I wouldn't need the certificates. Did you happen to get the same type of information or are we dealing with one of those issues where every person gives a different answer
