PWC admitted to cooking as part of a settlement allowing them to pay considerably less than suit called for.

The suits weren't brought by FHFA. Edwards was the lead plaintiff in both. FHFA actually argued that only it could bring lawsuits against PWC & Delloitte. Both firms settled with Edwards and his co-plaintiffs.
