Well, first understand this was a 30 minute toss-off piece of writing. I put some thought into it, but not lots of thought.
Mostly what it is saying:
1) the general stupidity of Man that he would buy 1 candy bar short of a free TV,
2) equates to selling his shares of $RSHN (candy bars) before he gets the free HeliosDX shares (TV's), thinking himself smart for not falling for the "scam" of giving up his dollar candy bars for something much more expensive (for one) when indeed he was going to get both and not give up anything (for two).
Not a perfect comparison, true, but it got the point across to most. And since no one was cutting me a check for the job, I didn't worry that it was a little messy.
