The central issue at this point, imo, comes down to this statement in the article.

"Trustees for Alaska said Wednesday that the Biden administration is now arguing that a “bare-bones Trump-era analysis of greenhouse gas emissions should be upheld,” even though the appeals court came to the opposite conclusion."

No doubt though, the article makes a strong case for approving the Willow Project.

I think if i was in Ashley's position i would wait on releasing the Merlin results until the judge's hammer drops on the Willow project, if possible of course.
