Alex studied as a Mechanical Engineer with a heavy emphasis on Manufacturability. Early in his career, Alex pursued positions as a Manufacturing Engineer, first in Automotive Suspension, and then in Medical Implants and Instrumentation. He then transitioned into Contract Manufacturing of medical devices. Having observed the workflows and pitfalls of traditional manufacturing, Alex soon redirected his attention on the Additive Manufacturing industry, where he has been since. Alex has experience on every available AM technology, as well as each piece of software required along the way from design to produced shipment. Alex now focuses on Quality Assurance with a goal to drive industry adoption and trust in AM for regulated fields.
