For all we know Grifco could have done some death spiral financing that allows hedgies to print more shares the lower the stock price goes. That is problem here. There is no visibility into what is really going on. Therefore the stock has the risk of a junk bond. You can gamble some money on it - but it certainly shouldn't be called an investment.
