That would be great if Brilacidin works prophylacticly, during full blown infection, AND post infection by inhibiting pulmonary fibrosis!! Given today’s data it should!

Pulmonary fibrosis is involved in the morbidity and mortality of many diseases besides covid. If brilacidin inhibits this process by inhibiting fibroblast proliferation it could potentially have utility in many other diseases

Great point. Many short of breath "long haulers" actually have pulmonary fibrosis as a complication from pulmonary Covid.

Wonder if Brilacidin would be helpful for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis?

I have a feeling we may see a clinical trial some day.
