The comment has nothing to do with the legality of CBD. The original thread was trying to figure out what products the proposed Trademark Name would apply to.

It states "none of the foregoing containing cannabis or cannabis derived substances".

Since CBD is derived from the Cannabis Sativa plant it would not apply.

It is still an open question that I imagine the company will clarify in an upcoming PR.
