Ubquubqu: Simply because that is not the way an audit works. In a properly performed and timely audit the company being audited does not get to pick the "time and place" that it gets done. What if it never reaches that point? Do investors just continue to wait? If you are interested in "integrity" audits must be performed on a regular and timely basis.
