People question it because I could just as easily say I spoke to Ballas and he said he was letting the stock go and taking it private. (Obviously this didn’t happen). It would be illegal for him to tell me that. And it would be illegal for me to claim that if it didn’t happen. So either way, someone would be breaking the law. Of course if he did it by email and I actually shared the email, then only Ballas would be breaking the law and I could rest easy. Unless, of course, I only shared it with some friends. Then I would really be setting myself up for legal problems.
