That risk is why the shares are so cheap for the time being. The same reason you're choosing to still lurk around after selling.
Investing is all about risk/reward. Judging by the price movement the last couple weeks, quite a few people are willing to take this risk for the major upside.
The company hasn't spent years cleaning up the shell to blow the deal at the final hour. I'm not worried one bit.
