There is zero documentation on the Ken "Caborca Legend" myth. I chalk it up to a promoter's tall tale, taken as fact by a gringo investor with more money than common sense.
Who wouldn't want to invest in a mine where a Nigerian guy with zero mining experience can stumble on a million dollar gold pocket and chip it out, then haul it up 70' to the surface in burlap bags! Sounds legit, right?
