You should be able to still buy nano tokens. You may not be able to find your metamask wallet directly, but you can open a Coinbase account and fund Ethereum directly from Coinbase to your metamask wallet. Only caveat to that is you may have a waiting period before you can transfer out of your Coinbase for security reasons because it is a new account.
