10nisman, I think he may have worded it wrong but if you want some evidence of this type of manipulation take a look at Nomis Bay’s ownership SEC filings (13D?). They’ve been steadily lowering their position as a major owner and are now sub 5% and no longer have to file.
If you look at what they’ve done over the past few months when they know no major events (like an EUA) are coming before OPEX they sell a ton of OTM calls while also generating pretty significant sell volume on low volume days such as today that really affect the price. You can even see the dates and volumes sold it’s pretty easy to tell what’s happening. In addition to that they’re making a killing on this strategy since OTM call premiums are so high with our IV. I’ve got August calls as I believe by this OPEX they’ll be essentially out of ownership firepower to generate sell volume and are not going to risk the call strategy so close to a potential EUA.
