That the stock or the volume is suspicious, either one can prompt the brokers to restrict buying.

Suspiciously high volume could be an indicator of, say for example, non-public rumors floating around, which happens to be the case here actually.

I'm holding, but with my finger on the trigger. These types of rumors almost never turn out to be true.
