No Market Makers will naked short any volume on the ask knowing they can cover once retail can no longer buy and only sell, MM's know that retail will start to dump heavy heading into either August deadline or end of September.
This is a no brainer cover as retail can only sell after mid August and then the stock stops trading end of September, if this stops trading, they don't really need to cover
