#339196 RE: Bluerinse #339194

Bluerinse, yes for one and the single-use technology should have been emphasized much more.

Avid is 95% Single Use at the end of the capacity enhancements. Other labs have millions of investments made over the last decades in metal bio-reactors that need cleaning and only the most expensive ones (we are talking in 100 thousands of dollars here) provide the required needed containment for the payload of small molecules.

That will require investments while Avid is ready and has the experience to use the single use technology in a forward only process.

Single Use
Single Use panel discussion. Catalent, Lonza, WuXiAvid Bioservices (Gene Yoshioka) They tell about their capacity and current extensions and their investments in Single Use. Nice to compare Avid with the big boys.

This story needs a more dynamic style, a higher pace, more graphical support and less high-school style reading from your paper. The guy is certainly knowledgeable, but probably that is the problem. You need him to talk to people on the boot. AIMO and still respecting the performance.
