Thank you for your reply and thoughts. What I am beginning to believe is that this might be a spinoff for the purpose of dumping debt. The company has a ton of debt. I became aware of this practice when Hanes Brands (HBI) was spun off. Another example is Lamb Weston Holdings (LW? LH?), a spinoff from ConAgra Foods. Lamb Weston the stock did well, but HBI has languished.

That being said, my position is not large, and it is one of the few stock with which I reinvest the dividend. I'll probably hold VTRS for a few years. Thank you again.
