WebSlinger, I empathize with that view point.

Sure seems to be a lot of funny stuff that points in that direction.

To be honest, I think they just stumbled into it that way. I do not believe that it was orchestrated. It just happened the way it did and gave the appearance of a potential religious infinity scam. I do believe that after this many years and with the turnover that has certainly occurred, there would have been at least one whistle blower along the way if it was truly an infinity scam.

I read what Fuzzy Panda stated. He/She was more right than wrong, though the tactics were questionable and lacked a semblance of decency. Maybe the excuse is that is how business is done, but still, it was low class trailer park at best. Guess that's one way to make a living. Sort of like the guy who shows up to put your family farm on the market. It's a way to make a living … I guess.

Call me naïve, I am the type that likes to build things up rather than tear them down or apart. It's not like ZNOG is an evil empire and Fuzzy Panda is a JEDI; though, I would not be surprised if that's how Fuzzy Panda sees him/her self. :-)

"I never stated that they are definitely a scam, but there is a lot of evidence that points to the possibility of a scam. I am still undecided at this time."

I think I got whiplash from that reversal...

WebSlinger, another point is one KyOil made

If Zion really was an infinity scam or an enrichment scheme, then

1.) Why would they buy a rig and ACTIVELY drill in Israel?
2.) Why would they purchase 3D Seismic?
3.) Why would they spend all their time negotiating with Israeli authorities for license rights, import/export issues, etc.
4.) Why would they purchase license rights
5.) Why would they train and Israeli Drilling Crew
6.) Why would they spend all that money for the above

Zion is one of the few companies that have actively participated in designing the process and procedures for oil exploration in Israel. They have actually led the way. This is not something an infinity scam would do.

It would have been easier for Zion to declare "COVID" in 2020, put all exploration on hold, and in the meantime, hold fund raising campaigns. The rig would not have had to be purchased, and they could have been sitting in their chairs waiting for COVID fear to dissipate as they banked more and more cash from the fund raising campaigns. This would have been the obvious move for an infinity scam.

So, let's just say that if ZNOG is an infinity scam or an enrichment scheme (as Homebrew believes), it's one of the worst ones ever conceived and executed :-).

No, ZION just made mistakes along the way that allowed the short position to implant doubt into the minds of the faithful shareholders. After a full analysis of the facts, one finds that Zion is not an infinity scam or an enrichment scheme (at least not a very good one :-)). They are just victims of a series of unfortunate events. Most of which were self inflicted.
