I believe polio was resolved via a vaccine in the USA. The spread then was diminished. Is that considered a cure!

I also heard that children in the USA are no longer getting the polio vaccine since we stamped it out decades ago. So there is fear/risk that a bio weapon against the USA could be the spreading of polio on a wide-spread basis via subways, etc.
