Hmmm. Seems I have at least two crazy/foolish friends, then. :-)
Perhaps there will be some who wait, but we're talking minimum 6 months, more realistically, nearly a year from now in advance of the '07 holiday season. I think the response would be just the opposite ... people who held off this past fall waiting for a potential pre-holiday intro, as well as those who held off December and early January purchases to see whether a full-screen model would be introduced at MWSF, are now cleared to buy, knowing there's virtually zero chance of anything better for at least 6 months, probably closer to a year.
I know of at least 2 vPod purchases made over New Years holiday under just that sort of logic, figuring the 30 day return policy would protect him from getting "obsoleted" by a MWSF introduction, if one happened. Then again ... perhaps I keep company with crazy and foolish people. :-)
