Yes, coinbase "PRO" is significantly cheaper and much easier to use.
You can set limit buy & sell orders...not have to watch 24hr day. Set orders and forget.

I think I just had to verify my identity.
Go to coinbase pro and start setting up acct. Pro recognized that I had a basic acct and only had me scan my ID into jpeg file and upload to verify identity....and that was it. Then you can transfer assets fairly easily.
