I guess the answer to that is, it depends. The capacity upon which he was advising was not for trial support, and design. His advising was relatively minimal in capacity. And yes, despite what Nader has said after the downfall of their relationship, he did in fact listen to Patterson.

Patterson is the one who first determined based on his CCR5 research that Leronlimab would be successful in treating the virus. Patterson came back from Wuhan in January I believe and setup meetings with Longen based upon his work relationships in China. So to answer your question, yes Nader did follow Patterson's advice with starting COVID trials, based on his theories of potential MOA.

Unfortunately Patterson was not involved in the setup or design of the trial. Thank Amarex for the wonderful design and thank Nader for not firing Amarex after each failure. You've got no idea whether he is or isn't listening to Recknor. My prior post was my speculation, by giving Recknor benefit of the doubt rather than assuming he doesn't understand RO. Mahboob is a story for another day, but things with Mahboob I believe went down in a different way than many hypothesize. I can't speak for what may have happened with Mahboob or whether Nader listened to him. Publicly though, Mahboob provided zero progress updates on any tasks. Privately, is a different story. I have my own theories for what went down in that situation, but speculating on a public forum doesn't help my investment nor does it help yours, so I'll leave it at that.
