I can't recall that ever happening, but who in da gubmint could stop them? I'm pretty sure that they want to finish up their last 15 cases, on the other hand 7 to 8 cases per week over 2 weeks seems like a lot! But ours is next in line and will likely be decided within the next 2 weeks, maybe in less than 48 hours!

Historically speaking - no - but again, no rules.
Please remember that last year, possibly due to covid slowing them down, they issued opinions until the last one on July 14. With the large number of cases still outstanding, I can see them going past July 4th (10 opinions after July 4th last year) since they had to operate under the same conditions this year. No big deal as they will wrap it up before the break. If you look at the schedule for the October 2019 for July last year it does not show anything after June 2019 - so don't go by that - https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/slipopinion/19.
